Granting equity to EOR and payroll workers isn't standard HR paperwork. Join Slice and Papaya Global on Nov 18 to learn why handling and filings must happen at grant.

For most HR teams, a grant letter looks like any other HR document. It gets drafted, signed and sent alongside the offer letter, the handbook and the benefits enrollment. The process feels familiar, so it gets treated as routine.
That works until the employee receiving the grant is employed through an EOR or a global payroll provider in another country. Then the grant letter stops being routine paperwork and becomes a cross-border equity event with its own set of requirements.
When a company hires through an EOR, the employee is employed locally while the equity comes from the parent company. Each country has its own rules for how equity is granted, taxed and reported.
So global equity for EOR and payroll workers isn't an extension of the standard HR workflow. It's a different process, and it needs to be handled as one.
The critical point is timing. Correct handling and regulatory filings have to happen at the moment of grant, not after.
That's what makes this blind spot so costly. A missed step can't be quietly fixed later. Once the grant is issued, the window to get it right has closed. You can't fix equity retroactively.
To help HR, Finance and Legal teams close this gap, Slice is teaming up with Papaya Global for a live webinar.
